Brief and the Challenge The brief was to draw inspiration from Armani's rich legacy and heritage, highlighting the brand's storied history in a compelling way. The biggest challenge was creating a fresh concept that captured Armani's core qualities.
About Brand Armani, founded by Giorgio Armani in 1975, is a renowned Italian luxury fashion brand known for its timeless designs across haute couture, ready-to-wear, and accessories. With sub-labels like Emporio Armani and Armani Exchange, it offers quality and exclusivity for diverse audiences.
Brainstorming Ideas While mood boarding, I explored a variety of concepts to showcase Armani’s website and brand communication in a way that feels truly sophisticated and luxurious. During this process I also initiated some rough designs of how the wireframes of the website will look based on the structure of the brands.
Design Concept The concept draws inspiration from the Japanese art of kintsugi, which means "golden joinery" and involves repairing broken objects with gold. This idea brings a sense of luxury and sophistication to the brand. By using minimal text and a refined color palette of black and gold, the visual identity gains a timeless elegance that adds even more value.
